UB40
A concert by UB40, above, "Miss Saigon" and a
food and product show are expected to snarl
traffic near Blaisdell Center.

Crowds converge
on Blaisdell

The Blaisdell Center looks like the place to be this weekend with the Hawaii premiere of "Miss Saigon," the Food and New Products Show and the 7:30 p.m. UB40 concert tonight.

Expecting a tangle of traffic, the City and County of Honolulu is advising patrons to arrive early for events and to take advantage of other lots in the vicinity each weekend through Oct. 24.

Lots available are:

Bullet Hawaiian Electric Co., 820 Ward Ave.
Bullet Symphony Park Parking Lot, 770 Kapiolani Ave., across from the Blaisdell Center box office
Bullet Honolulu Academy of Arts, 1111 Victoria St.
Bullet First Methodist Church, 1020 S. Beretania St.
Bullet NCR Building, 720 Kapiolani Blvd, (behind Yanagi Sushi)
Bullet 825 Kapiolani Boulevard (across from Theo Davies)

Parking at the Blaisdell is $3; rates at the other locations will vary depending on demand.
