A 22-year-old California community college student who last year sold enough life insurance to generate more than $18 million in premiums will be the featured speaker at a luncheon meeting Tuesday in Honolulu.

Jeremy Dicker, a student at the Santa Monica Community College, sells insurance through the Kerrigan Agency in Los Angeles as a Northwestern Mutual Life intern. Local life insurance officials said Dicker is Northwestern's top college insurance representative and his sales volume ranks him 150th in the Northwestern sales force.

Last year he was the first college intern to make it into the life insurance industry's "Million Dollar Round Table."

Dicker also will be the chief speaker at a motivational seminar Tuesday morning, before next week's luncheon, organized by the Honolulu Association of Life Underwriters.

Both events, at the Ilikai Hotel Nikko Waikiki, are open to the public. the 9:30 a.m.-to-11:30 a.m. seminar is $20 for HALU members and students and $40 for nonmembers. The luncheon is $18 per person.
