You can take to the streets downtown tomorrow night, moving
to the sounds of Rolando Sanchez and his Salsa Hawaii Band.

Nu‘uanu Nights
goes Latin

It's time for another block party and once again, the merchants on Nuuanu Avenue are happy to oblige. There will be a celebration of art, music, food and drinks from 6 to 11 p.m. tomorrow.

Nu'uanu Nights goes "La Vida Loca" as Rolando Sanchez and his Salsa Hawaii Band provide Latin rhythms for dancing in the street. There will also be Hawaiian music by The Family.

Meanwhile, Nuuanu galleries will be open, hosting glass-blowing demonstrations, poetry readings, puppeteers, performance art, and more.

For the outdoorsy, rather than artsy crowd, there will be a Moving Mountains portable rock-climbing wall for those who want to show off their social-climbing skills.

And just because the street fun closes down at 11, doesn't mean the party has to be over. Head to Indigo or Havana Cabana for the after parties.
