Stabb and Graybill take
Run for the Cure titles

Eric Stabb and Rachel Graybill won the men's and women's titles at the Run for the Cure 5-kilometer race yesterday at Kapiolani Park.

Stabb, a 31-year-old reserach assistant at the University of Hawaii, covered the 3.1-mile race in 15 minutes, 48 second. He beat Army sergeant Gray Brimmer by 28 seconds.

Graybill, 29, came in at 18:46, 10 seconds ahead of women's runner-up Jeannie Wokasch.

A field of 3,200 participated in the race, which was a fund-raiser for the Susan G. Komen Breast cancer Foundation.

Lilio paces Chaminade

Joan Lilio's 26 kills and 25 digs helped Chaminade to a 12-15, 15-2, 15-6, 15-13 victory over Hawaii-Hilo in college women's volleyball yesterday at Hilo.

Chaminade improved to 5-4 with its second victory over the Vulcans (2-4) in as many days.
