Fermin Pagaduan Cachero, 84, of Naalehu, died Sept. 10 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, the Philippines, he was a retired Kau Sugar employee. He is survived by sons Bill, Magno, Fermin, Alan, Christopher, Rodrick Pilanca and Dawson Pilanca; daughters Mary Valdez, Gloria Cachero-Wimbish, Imelda Chang, Sheryl Cachero, Terry Schmidt and Dayna Pilanca; sister Dionicia Delos Santos; 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Diosita Pablo Juan Gervacio, 56, of Kaneohe, died Sept. 1 at Straub Clinic and Hospital. Born in Laoag City, the Philippines, she was a retired Outrigger Hotels housekeeper.
