Jane S. Abellera, 58, of Pahala, Hawaii, a housekeeping supervisor for the Kilauea Military Camp, died Tuesday in Hilo Hospital. She was also a co-proprietor of Abellera Farms. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by husband Aurellio; daughters Theresa Ishii and Patricia Abellera; son Aurellio Jr.; brothers Kenneth and Michael Namba; sisters Doris Johnson, Shirley Andre, Janet Nagao and Shirley Mae Nakamoto; and a grandchild. William H. "Bill" Adelstein, 70, of Honolulu, a retired master sergeant of the U.S. Army, died Saturday in Honolulu. He was born in Cleveland. He is survived by wife Ida; daughters Terry and Acy Adelstein and Sandra Winters; son Donald; sister Marjorie Herbert; and seven grandchildren. No services. Doris M. Alakai, 65, of Kihei, Maui, a counter cashier for Stella Blues Deli & Cafe, died Sunday at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Bobo Jr. and Jacob; daughters Sheri Tomlinson, Leona Pitt and Donna Kamai; brother Fred Abad Jr.; sisters Lorraine May and Dorothy Tongpalan; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Franklin H. Belding, 84, of Missoula, Mont., formerly of Hawaii, a retired commissioned officer from the U.S. Navy, died Sept. 1 in Mountain Valley Hospice House. He was also an educator and a business executive. He was born in Fayette, Ohio. He is survived by daughter Nancy J. Edwards; sons Robert F., Don R. and Richard L.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. No flowers. Muriel K. Fujimoto, 77, of Honolulu, a retired school lunch supervisor for the state Department of Education, died Wednesday in Kaiser Hospital. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Prescott K., Patrick K., Paul K., Philip K. and Peter K.; brothers Robert and Richard Kawasaki; sister Amy T. Tokioka; and seven grandchildren. Benjamin K. "Ben" Manuel, who worked with Alcoholic Anonymous, died Sept. 1 in Honolulu. He was born in Hoolehua, Molokai. He is survived by grandmother Priscilla C.
