‘Hari’s Kitchen’ reruns
showing on KHON Fox2

Question: What ever happened to Hari Kojima's cooking show, "AT&T Taste Hawaii with Hari"?

Answer: Kojima, former host of "Hari's Kitchen" and "Let's Go Fishing," returned last September to host "AT&T Taste Hawaii with Hari" in the 5:30 p.m. Sunday slot on KFVE. The show was discontinued early this summer.

But KHON Fox2 began rebroadcasting episodes from "Hari's Kitchen" this week.

The half-hour-long show, called "Kitchen Classics with Hari," runs Monday through Friday at 3 p.m.

According to General Manager Kent Baker, the station thought viewers might be interested in a revival of the old episodes.

Baker added that the recipes are good forever.

"I think it's a great opportunity for people to look at these older shows, not so much that the restaurants are still there or that the chefs are still there, but the recipes are still very valid," Kojima said.

KHON Fox2 is also looking at opportunities to broadcast "Let's Go Fishing" reruns internationally, Baker said.
