Sean Bakey prepares to tee off on the first hole of Ka Lima O
Maui's 100 Holes of Golf Saturday at Kapalua's Village Course.
Some of the participants played the game seriously, while others did
it for fun. Organizers of the benefit say they raised some $25,000.
Ka Lima provides job training for the poor and for adults with
disabilities. Some 36 golfers played the 100 holes, starting at
sunrise and winding up at sunset. "It was great," said Chantal
Ratte, a Ka Lima official. She said about 35 volunteers
helped with the annual event.
