Peter Kapono Ahuna, 86, of Kaneohe, a retired freight supply supervisor, died last Monday. He was born in Hawaii. He is survived by wife Annie; sons Peter, William and John, 13-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Friday at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Call after 9 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. Aloha attire. No flowers.

Nathaniel"Mapu"Burrows, 73, of Molokai, a retired state forestry worker, died Aug. 5 at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Stephen; daughters Debra, Denise Tamashiro, Dannette, Iwalani Piena and Kuulei; brothers Moses, Francis and Leslie, and three grandchildren. Services: 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Borthwick Mortuary. Call after 9 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Aloha attire. No flowers.

Susumu Hashitate, 89, of Aiea, a retired civil service employee and former supervisor and accounting technician with Oahu Sugar Company, died Aug. 5 at Kuakini Hospital. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by wife Takeno; son Earl, and four grandchildren. Services were private.

Dorothy Macy Nobriga, 87, of Waianae, a retired Sacred Hearts Academy schoolteacher, died Thursday at Queen's Hospital. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Daniel and Henry Talbert; hanai daughter Yvonne Lee; brother Samuel Macy; sisters Elizabeth Monte, Vivian Saffery, Thelma Eleneki, Caroline Mahoe and Melvia Hewett; 15 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Mass: 11:15 a.m. Friday at Star of the Sea Church. Call after 9 a.m. Burial to follow at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Aloha attire.

Bonifacia Dangli Nono, 94, of Honolulu died Aug. 3 at Nuuanu Hale Care Home. She was born in the Philippines. She is survived by husband Leonardo; daughters Adela Gorospe, Philadelphia Mendonca and Leonora Pa; sons Liguorino and Simone; 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Services:10 a.m. Saturday at Nuuanu Mortuary. Call afer 8 a.m. Burual to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Casual attire.

Victor Ariola Salvador, 86, of Honolulu, a retired Hawaiian Dredging and Construction worker, died Wednesday at home. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Carolina; sons Pedro, Primitivo, Cosme, Joseph "Lucky" and Manuel; daughters Nena Martin and Carolvic Machado; brothers Rodrigo and Felipe; sisters Magdalena Gorospe, Perfectua De Leon, Vincenta Dela Cruz, Claudia Salazar, Rosalina Antolin and Maria, 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday at Nuuanu Memorial Park Mortuary. Call after 6 p.m Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Casual attire.
