So, sew special

If quilting is the fabric of your existence, if pattern drafting keeps you on pins and needles, if stitchery is the thread that connects you to sanity, have we got a show for you.

The fourth annual Sewing-Quilting and Craft Exposition takes place tomorrow through Sunday at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.

More than 100 exhibitors from throughout the United States and Canada will display supplies, gadgets and kits, as well as sewing machines, embroidery machines and laminating systems.

Seminars will cover pattern-fitting, dressmaking, "scrapbag creativity" and various quilting techniques.

General admission is $6. Hours are noon to 8 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the weekend.
