Carlos Sagun Cariaga, 88, of Honolulu, a retired stevedore, died July 21. Born in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, he is survived by wife Estrella; sons Angelino and Carl; daughters Virginia, Carolina Cariaga-Camacho and Conchita; half-sister Rosalina Feltro; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Church. Call 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Nuuanu Memorial Park Mortuary and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.

Martin "Marty" Conboy, 62, of Hillsboro, Oregon, a retired program manager with the Navy's marine mammal projects in San Diego and Kaneohe, died Friday in Kaiser's Sunnyside Medical Center in Portland. He is survived by wife Martha; sons Michael, Richard and David; daughter Nancy Miller; step-sons Gregory and Tim Allen; brother Michael; sisters Margaret, Marcia Alissandrello, Maureen Conboy-Ray and Marcella Gosey; five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and one great- grandchild. Family prayers: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Farrell's Funeral Home, 84 South Street in Auburn, New York. Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Auburn. Call on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial: St. Patrick's Cemetery in Aurora, New York.

Daniel Kauluwehiwehionapua Kaulahao, Jr., 80, of Honolulu, a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard worker, died July 4 at St. Francis Hospice. Born in Honolulu, he is survived by wife Mary P.; sons Daniel III and William; daughter Pat Dugan; sister Margaret Bertelmann; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mass: 9:15 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Call after 8 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Diamond Head memorial Park. No flowers. Aloha Attire.

George Masao Muraoka, 96, of Honolulu, retired owner of Kalihi Auto Parts & Supply, died July 25 at the Hale Nani nursing home. Born in Yamaguchi, Japan, he is survived by wife, Grace; son Stanley; daughters Hilda Tanaka, Nancy Horita and Beatrice Hashimoto; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Private services held.

James Dwight Oaks, 62, of Hilo, a retired restaurant owner, died Thursday at home. Born in Marion, Virginia, he is survived by wife Gloria Egle-Oaks; sons James Steven, Gregory Dwight and Richard Todd, hanai son Eddy James Coykendall, step-daughter Lisa Coykendall and seven grandchildren. Services were held yesterday in Hilo. Donations can be sent to the Hospice of Hilo.

Keizo Oda, 87, of Honolulu, is also survived by daughter Elaine Kam. Incorrect information was provided by the mortuary for an obituary that ran Saturday.

Yukuo Sanehira, 72, of Honolulu, a retired fire truck mechanic, died Wednesday at Kuakini hospital. Born in Ewa, he is survived by wife Lillian; son Troy; daughter Janice Shishido; brother Kazumi; sisters Mildred Ino and Lillian Saito and a grandson. Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. No flowers. Casual attire.

Charles George Schoenherr, 73, of Kailua, a retired Navy commander, died July 25 at Castle hospital. Born in New York, he is survived by his wife Saeko; son Charles, Jr.; sister Ann Eva McKenna and a grandchild. Service: 11 a.m. Friday at Rissho Kosei-Kai, 2280 Auhuhu St. in Pearl City; inurnment to follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Casual attire.

Norma Hatsue Takeshita, 79, of Lihue, died Wednesday at Queen's hospital. Born in Waimea, Kauai, she is survived by sons Norman, Brian, Scott and Mark; Daughters Arlene and Marilyn Takeshita and Candance Hartman; brothers Kentaro, Kinjiro and Kiyoshi Kabazawa; sisters Carolyn Omoto, Sadie Doi and Sumie Quriault; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Service: 6 p.m. Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. .

Thomas Keiko Yasuda, 66, of Honolulu, a retired kitchen helper, died July 16. Born in Waianae, he is survived by brothers James, Keitoku, Kaiso, Renny and Keiichi; sisters Patsy Imoto, Hatsue "Helen" Kaneshiro and Alice Miyasato. Private service held.

Lloyd Yasugi Nikaido, 79, of Honolulu, a retired merchant marine steward, died Tuesday at Kuakini hospital. Born in Honolulu, he is survived by brother Raymond and sister Florence Tamura. Private services held.
