Williams finishes fourth
Hawaii's Ross Williams took fourth place in the ShockWave U.S. Open of Surfing yesterday at Huntington Beach, Calif.Shea Lopez won the championship heat with 23.35 points to beat fellow Californian Rob Machado's 18.00 points.
Brazilian Neco Padaratz finished third with 14.55 points and secured the lone wildcard for next week's Gotcha Pro, a World Tour event. Williams had 8.5 points.
South African Travis Logie won the Billabong Junior with 17.25 points, followed by Hawaii's Fred Patacchia (16.15 points).
