Joseph E. Cummings, 70, of Waianae, a retired truck driver, died June 7 in Leeward Integrated Health Services. Born in Illinois, he is survived by sons Joseph Jr. and Richard; and daughters Lorri and Deanne. Graveside services: 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.

Janet B.A. Dempsey, 65, of Kahului, died Monday at home. Born in Puukolii, Maui, she is survived by sons Dean W., David and Darryl; sister Shirley Chapman; brothers Edwin, Robert, Ronald, Gary, Richard and George Andrade; and seven grandchildren. Aniceta "Sitang" Domingo, 87, of Kahului, died Wednesday in Maui Memorial Hospital. Born in Laoag City, the Philippines, she is survived by son Erving; daughters Luz Esteban, Candy Domingo and Armelina Sadiri; brothers Isidro and Inocencio Corpuz; sisters Macaela Corpuz, Elena Sotto and Sigundena Tolentino; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Serafin M. Figaroa, 77, of Eleele, Kauai, a tractor operator for McBryde Sugar Co., died Thursday at home. Born in Koloa, Kauai, he is survived by wife Gregoria; sons Jacob and Serafin Jr.; daughters Genevieve Sialana and Diana Toki; stepdaughters Swanie Daluge, Paulette Glover and Joan Sims; sister Jane Vegas; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Natalie L.L. "Dolly" Fischell, 84, formerly of Hawaii, a teacher and the first principal of Temple Emanu-El Hebrew School, died June 22. Born in Milwaukee, she is survived by husband Sam, daughters Denise Sherman and Harriet Ader, five grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Services held.

Cecilio J. Gonzales, 74, of Ewa Beach, a retired baker from Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines, died Tuesday in Tripler Hospital. Born in Pangasinan, the Philippines, he is survived by wife Purificacion; sons Rancho, Rafael and Cecilio Jr.; daughters Letty and Roseminda Gonzales, Shirley Fronda and Donna Manaligod; and nine grandchildren.
