Jehovah's Witnesses from throughout Hawaii are meeting this weekend at the first of eight state conventions expected to draw a total of 12,000 people.

The annual meetings, which will continue through August, will be at the Watchtower Educational Center at Mililani Industrial Park.

Highlights of tomorrow's session will include a Biblical drama, "Appreciating Our Spiritual Heritage," at 11:30 a.m. and a talk on "Making All Things New...as Foretold" by Hawaii member Gary Wong at 1:50 p.m. The next session will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday. Several people will be baptized in a ceremony at 11:30 a.m. next Saturday. A 10 a.m. symposium Sunday, July 11, will discuss Bible prophecies about current events. All sessions are open to the public.
