Thanks to Net,
New York City gets some
Hawaiian culture

New York City finally is getting some culture -- Hawaiian culture that is.

This weekend, the Hawaii Cultural Foundation and the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau sponsor the Hawaii Festival Marketplace at the South Street Seaport.

You can reach it by getting off at either the Fulton or Broadway subway station, or by logging on to http://www.kalena.com/hawaiian_culture_nyc.html.

You can also check out the Liberty Challenge World Outrigger Championship, which features 70 teams, including one from Hawaii.

The site also has links to East Coast Hawaii clubs with e-mail addresses if you need more information.
