Bullet Robert Y.H. “Bob” Ahn, 74, of Waianae, a retired electrician with the federal government at Kaena Point and Hickam Air Force Base, died Sunday in St. Francis-West Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughters Mona Amas, Carmen Ahn and Ruby Ahn-Pastor; brother Richard; sisters Elizabeth Inoue, Loretta Higa and Edith P.S. Bullet Joy K. Apo, 65, of Paia, Maui, a schoolteacher at Makawao Elementary School, died Wednesday in Maui Memorial Hospital. She was born in Paia, Maui. Bullet Joseph Arruda Jr., 69, of Hilo, a maintenance worker for Hilo Hospital, died Wednesday at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Patricia; sons Joel, J. Bullet Eliseo T. “Berse” Bersamin, 76, of Kahului, a retired welder at Hawaiian Commercial and Sugar Co., died Wednesday at home. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Shirley; son Alexander; daughters Elisa Wingfield, Darline Aikala, Iris Kahoohanohano, Alena Balberdi and Jasmine Higa; sisters Liduvina Valeros, Thelma Dumlao and Julieta Pacampara; brother Pedro T., 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Bullet Ei Ichiriu, 101, of Hakalau, Hawaii, a self-employed seamstress and dressmaker, died April 28 in the Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Honolulu. Bullet Ume “Mae” Shiroma, 72, of Mountain View, Hawaii, proprietress of Mae's Nursery, died Wednesday in Hilo Hospital. She was born in Kohala, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Masato “Tom”; sons George and Glenn; daughter Naomi Fujimoto; brother Kenneth Tamanaha, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchil dren.
