Adriatic Animal Attractions
Trainer Khris Allen works with a white tiger. The Adriatic
Animal Attractions act will be featured at the fair.
The fair runs 6 p.m. to midnight Fridays, noon to midnight Saturdays, Sundays and Memorial Day, from tomorrow through June 20. The fair will also be open 6 p.m. to midnight June 17.
Admission is $3 for those 12 and older from 6 p.m. to midnight, or $2 from noon to 6 p.m. Children ages 4 to 11 pay $1.50, and those 3 and under get in free.
In addition to the usual E.K. Fernandez rides, food booths, a beer garden, musical entertainment and information booths, this year's fair features:
A tiger extravaganza with eight Bengals, including Golden Tabbies, white tigers and a snow-white tiger. The Bengal Tiger Presentations will take place three times daily, with the cats on display between performances.
Xtreme Air, an acrobatic thrill team from California that, among other things, leaps from 85-foot-high towers.
A NASA educational exhibit focused on the solar-powered Pathfinder and other craft from the Dryden Flight Research Center.
The "Inverter," a new ride that flips riders backward while hurtling them four stories off the ground.
