Developing international
markets for HVCB

Wei-Wei Ojiri will oversee development of marketing activities in Asia, Europe and Latin America. Among the countries targeted are include Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico.

"We will be doing the 'Aloha Cities' this year in Seoul, Auckland and Taipei," Ojiri said.

Under the "Aloha Cities" promotion, Hawaiian activities are brought to the city and more exposure is arranged on local television.

For the past eight months, she has been under a consultant contract to help with expansion of integrated marketing programs.

She has more than 18 years in the travel and hospitality industry. For 10 years she was director of all outbound leisure/business travel for American Express.

Ojiri is a native of Taiwan and is fluent in several Chinese dialects. She earned a degree in political science from China Municipal Junior College.
