Robert Mougeot took over as board chairman of the Oahu Economic Development Board on May 1. Roy Tsukamaki, former board chairman, moved to the president's job and is overseeing operations. Taking over as

"OEDB will be placing a renewed emphasis on working with other groups and individuals to help move Oahu's economy forward."
Mougeot is financial vice president and chief financial officer at Hawaiian Electric Industries Inc. He came to HEI 10 years ago as an auditor after working more than 20 years at the Arthur Andersen accounting firm and becoming a partner in the San Francisco office.
He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Occidental College in Los Angeles and a master's degree in accounting from Arizona State University.
