on the second teamHawaii first baseman Jamie Aloy, a junior from Wailuku, was a first-team selection on the All-Western Athletic Conference baseball team announced yesterday.
Outfielder Sean Takamori and designated hitter Tracy Nakano of the Rainbows were on the second-team.
Aloy and Takamori were named co-winners of UH's Most Outstanding Player award at the team's awards banquet last night at the Prince Hotel.
Rich Snider and Randon Ho shared the Most Outstanding Pitcher award and four Rainbows, Corey Miller, Wakon Childers, Lane Nogawa and Scooter Martines, shared the Outstanding First-Year Player award.
Michael Dartt took home the Most Inspirational and Best Executor trophies; Lars Hansen was the team's top scholar-athlete. Redshirt freshman Derek Honma received the GTE Beyond the Call trophy.
