A teacher who had filed a second-degree terroristic threatening charge against all-state St. Louis defensive lineman Tamotu Tagoai Jr. has dropped her complaint.

The athlete had pleaded not guilty in his arraignment in Circuit Court and was due to begin trial June 1.

Tagoai, one of the Nebraska football program's top recruits, was arrested March 4 on campus after a complaint by physics teacher Gerilyn T. Corpuz, who claimed the player threatened her.

Corpuz could not be reached last night.
