St. Francis advances
in ILH playoffs

Jackie Caballero scored five of her eight points in the second quarter as St. Francis of Division II opened up a 10-point lead on the way to a 54-36 victory over Division I University High in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu girls' basketball playoff game yesterday at McCabe Gym.

Jami Strapple had 12 points to lead St. Francis, which advanced to a 6 p.m. game at Iolani today.

Christina Ciacci scored a game-high 20 points for University High.

In today's other playoff action, Sacred Hearts visits Mid-Pacific at 4:30.
