Name: Robert Kamemoto
Robert Kamemoto has been promoted to vice president and assistant manager of the corporate banking division at Central Pacific Bank. Lending a hand at
Central Pacific Bank"We're the main commercial lending unit of the bank and we've been able to grow from $30 million (loan portfolio) in 1980 to over a half billion dollars in 1999," Kamemoto said. "Our basic philosophy is one of relationship banking. We want to be a trusted financial adviser."
Kamemoto joined Central Pacific Bank in 1980 and most recently was a vice president. He also worked five years in management positions at Finance Factors.
He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Stanford University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Hawaii. He also was an honor student at the Pacific Coast Banking School.
