Generating ideas
at Aston Hotels

Wera Panow will oversee marketing strategies for Aston Hotels & Resorts. She also will be deal with internal and external communications, and the annual marketing budget for Aston's 29 properties throughout Hawaii.

"We want to get more idea generation from the marketing department," Panow said.

She has more than eight years in marketing and product development. She worked for marketing consulting businesses and Pacific Marine & Supply Co. in Honolulu.

Panow earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a major in marketing, from Hawaii Pacific University. She also attended Wirtschafts advanced business school in Germany and received an associate degree in economics. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunset, the Travel and Tourism Research Association and past co-chair of the communications committee of the Small Business Council of the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii.
