Iolani water polo

The junior scored her second goal of the game with 25 seconds left to lift the Raiders to a 6-5 win over Punahou. It was the Buffanblu's first loss in two years. Iolani remained unbeaten at 5-0.

Roosevelt baseball

The senior pitcher/first baseman went 4-for-4 Saturday, driving in nine runs for the Rough Riders on two home runs -- a solo and a grand slam in the same inning -- a two-run single and a two-run double. He gave up one hit and stuck out four over four innings in the 15-0 win over McKinley.

Baseball

Kellan Briones, Kamehameha: Drove in eight runs, four on a grand slam, in the Warriors' 18-5 win over UHBA. In three games last week, he drove in 11 runs in going 5-for-9.

Paki Lum, Kamehameha: Hit two homers and drove in four runs for the Warriors in Thursday's 15-7 win over Mid-Pac.

Brent Wong, Iolani: Drove in three runs and scored four times in Saturday's 11-1 win over Mid-Pacific that clinched a state tournament berth for the Raiders.

Girls' basketball

Christina Hee, Mid-Pacific: Scored 21 points, 13 in the deciding fourth quarter, to help the Owls over University, 59-41.

Rosemarie Kelly, Nanakuli: Scored 11 of her 18 points in the second half, including five free throws in the final quarter in Tuesday's 46-42 win over Leilehua.

Kea Kimball, Kamehameha: the junior center scored 25 points and grabbed 23 rebounds as the Warriors stayed undefeated in the ILH with wins over Maryknoll and Sacred Hearts.

Liz Narkon, St. Francis: Scored a combined 20 points with 17 rebounds in the Troubadors' two wins last week.

Monica Tokoro, Iolani: Scored 25 points in a 50-46 defeat to Maryknoll and 10 in a win over Sacred Hearts.

Cheryl Villarmia, Pearl City: Scored 29 points in two games last week, including 14 in a critical game with Moanalua. She hit both ends of a one-and-one with 30 seconds left to ice the 41-37 win over the Menehunes on Tuesday.

Ashley Watamura, Mid-Pacific: Had 20 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks in the 54-31 loss to Punahou.

Lia Wyman, Hawaii Baptist: The senior guard scored a combined 41 points, had 24 rebounds and 10 assists in three ILH Division II games last week.

Boys' track & field

Dana Navarro-Arias, Maui: Won the 100 high hurdles and long jump, finishing second in the 300 intermediate hurdles Saturday.

Girls' track & field

Eri Macdonald, Punahou: Won the 400 dash by three seconds (58.4) and the 800, finishing third in the 200, where first and third place were separated by 4/10th of a second.

Sara Yap, Punahou: Won both the long jump and pole vault, finishing second in the 100 high hurdles Saturday.
