Snider's pitching history is one of getting stronger as the game progresses. If he has trouble, it comes early and last night was proof once again.
"Everything was up and they were sitting dead red (on fastballs)," said the 5-10, 182-pound junior right-hander.
"I try to establish the fastball, then let the off-speed stuff and breaking stuff complement the fastball. After the first inning I had to go the opposite."
SOLUTION: Graham vacations in Hawaii often and has an answer to counter jet lag.
"I got them off the plane (Thursday) and took them up to Hanauma Bay and let them swim for an hour. Then we worked out that night," said Graham. "What I found with jet lag is you need to get active right off the plane. I though we played a good ball game tonight."
BOW BUNTS: UH was 9-0 vs. ranked teams this season prior to last night ... The 'Bows had no extra base hits for the second consecutive game ... Sean Takamori's hitting streak was stopped at 12 games.
