The Hawaii Hammerheads, fresh off a win in their opener, take their first road trip of the Professional Indoor Football League season this weekend.

The Hammerheads travel to Austin, Texas, to play the Texas Terminators on Saturday night.

Due to job commitments at home, Hawaii will be missing its most experienced offensive lineman, Roy Maafala, and one of its best defensive lineman, Mika Liilii.

Starting cornerback John Obey will be available for only the Saturday game.

Head coach Guy Benjamin will have only three assistant coaches with him, including defensive coordinator Doug Semones. Benjamin will have to handle the offense himself.

"We'll really miss Maafala because he's experienced enough to have coached the offensive line," said Benjamin.

Running back Calvin Mims, who had two touchdowns in last weekend's 27-23 victory over the Mississippi Firedogs, will remain home with some knee swelling.

But Brendyn Agbayani, the original designated starter at running back, will be available for both road games. Agbayani sat out the first game with an injury.

Benjamin said the Terminators feature players who played college ball for Texas, UTEP, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.

After this trip, the Hammerheads will start a four-game homestand against Idaho and Colorado at the Blaisdell Arena.
