SANFORD Nojima has been promoted to general manager of the 350-room Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel at the Mauna Kea Resort on the Big Island. The hotel is entering into its fifth year. Moving up to GM at

He has 20 years in the hotel industry and most recently was hotel manager of the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel. He also worked for the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Hawaiian Monarch Hotel and Holiday Inn Hawaii Corp. Nojima joined Prince Resorts in 1986 and came from Maui to the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel in November 1997. Nojima earned a bachelor's degree in personnel, industrial relations and travel industry management from the University of Hawaii.
Prince Resorts Hawaii owns and operates the 310-room Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, the 310-room Maui Prince Hotel at Makena and the 521-room Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki.
