JAMES Patterson will oversee all operations on Maui for American Savings Bank, while being based in Honolulu. Branching out for
American Savings"We have seven branches on Maui and one on Molokai," Patterson said. "I'll be coordinating all the branch saving and lending activities. I see a lot of opportunity on Maui."
He has 27 years in banking and most recently was manager of American Savings Bank branch at Kahala Mall. He joined the bank last year. Patterson also was senior loan officer at GE Capital Hawaii, senior vice president at Bank of America Hawaii, vice president/manager at Bank of Hawaii, and vice president/manager of the residential loan division at First Federal Savings. He is vice president of the Self Help Housing Corp. and a member of the public health fund committee at the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii. Patterson earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Portland State University.
