Hawaii Prince Hotel"We are networking all four (Prince) hotels in the Islands," Clancy said. "Forty percent of my job is training and 60 percent is keeping the network up and running."
He starting learning about computers while working the family's tool and die mechanical engineering business in Detroit. Clancy decided to come to Hawaii in 1995, where he has relatives, to continue his studies. He is studying for certification from Microsoft Corp. with classes at the Computer Training Academy in Honolulu.
He worked as a consultant and instructor before joining the Hawaii Prince Hotel in its engineering department. He currently teaches computer courses at the University of Hawaii and Kapiolani Community College.
