Erin Galloway, known for his extraordinary vertical leap as a Rainbow basketball forward the last two seasons, has accepted an invitation to play in exhibition games against the Harlem Globetrotters.

The 6-foot-8 Galloway, a native of Marietta, Ga., said the exhibition games would take place between the end of April and the beginning of May in California, Michigan and Ohio.

He said he doesn't view the invitation as a tryout for the Globetrotters but he believes it wouldn't hurt if he performed well.

"It doesn't say anything in the letter about wanting me to try out but I'm sure that if I do good, maybe they'd be interested," he said.

He said he will be playing on a team of college seniors.
