Designing the future
for AM Partners

WES Deguchi will help AM Partners expand its business in Asia and the United States, working through offices in Shanghai and Los Angeles.

The company also named Patrick T. Onishi, former city planning director, as a new principal architect.

"My role here at AM Partners is to take a lead role in overseeing design quality of projects and promote development overseas," Deguchi said.

He has designed and developed projects in China, the Philippines, Malaysia, Saipan, California and Hawaii.

Deguchi has 24 years in architecture. He was vice president of GYA Architects Inc. and remains president of GYA's international and management subsidiary firms. He is also former vice chairman of the Hawaii Design Group and vice chairman of BAH Design Limited, a joint venture in Beijing, China.
