Kamehameha opens
season with victory

Ashley DeSilva and Kealani Kimball each scored 20 points and Kamehameha opened the ILH girls' basketball season with a 54-38 victory over host Iolani last night.

Kimball also grabbed 12 rebounds for the Warriors (1-0), who took a 17-8 first-quarter lead and never looked back. The Raiders (0-1) were led by Monica Tokoro (13 points) and Kacy Nekoba (11).
