Kamehameha track

Won both the pole vault and long jump events, and placed second in the high jump -- all with state meet qualifying distances -- at Saturday's first ILH preseason meet.

The senior won both the 200- and 400-meter dashes at the first ILH preseason meet of the season. She also anchored the Buffanblu's winning 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams.

Baseball

bullet Beaux Bonilla, Castle: The senior third baseman homered in the title game of the Dick Kitamura Memorial Tournament on Saturday as the Knights rallied past Kamehameha, 4-3. For the tourney, he was 4-for-5 with two doubles, four RBIs and five runs scored.

bullet Paul Collins, Castle: The left-handed junior pitched five innings of scoreless relief in the Knights' 4-3 win over Kamehameha for the championship of the Kitamura Tournament. Collins gave up three hits, stuck out seven and walked one while also making two critical defensive plays in the sixth inning.

Girls basketball

bullet Brandy Richardson, Kalaheo: Scored eight points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Kalaheo over McKinley, 32-31, in the championship of the Lady Mustangs Preseason Classic on Saturday. She finished with 42 points in three games as the Mustangs went 3-0.

Boys track & field

bullet Travis AhKing, Kamehameha: Won both the 100-meter high hurdles and 300 intermediate hurdles at the ILH preseason meet at Punahou on Saturday.

bullet Mark Bridenstine, Mililani: Won the 800- and 1,500-meter races, was third in the 3,000 and anchored the Trojans' winning 4x400 relay team at the OIA preseason meet at Mililani.

bullet Dyron Kelly, Mililani: Won the 100, 200 and 400 races at the OIA preseason meet.

bullet Kristopher Knight, Pearl City: Won both the long jump and the triple jump at the OIA meet.

bullet Joe Siolfele, St. Louis: Won both the discus and shot put events at the ILH preseason meet.

Girls track & field

bullet Carmen Calpo, Pearl City: Won the 1,500- and 3,000-meter events at the OIA preseason meet at Mililani Saturday.

bullet Charlayne Claunan, Waialua: Dominated the throwing events with wins in the discus and shot put at the OIA preseason meet.

bullet Leila Hammonds, Mililani: Won the 100 and 200 races at the OIA preseason meet.
