Creamy, silky, satiny chocolate. Or chunky, fudgy, syrupy chocolate. With the perfect, flakey crust. Is that asking too much? Chocolate dreams
We're in search of the best chocolate pie on the island. By this we mean pie from a bakery or a restaurant -- not your secret family recipe. We want a pie we can recommend to the masses. We have our ideas about where to get the best, but we don't pretend to know everything, so we're taking nominations. Fill out the form at right and tell us who you think does chocolate best. The pie can have a topping or layers, but must be mostly chocolate.
We'll choose the most promising nominees for a blind taste-off. If you want to help pick, nominate yourself as a judge. You must be available on March 22
Ballots must be in our hands by the end of the work day, March 17.
Help us choose the best chocolate pie on the island. It can be chocolate cream, chocolate with some kind of topping, chocolate fudge ... as long as the predominate ingredient is chocolate and there's a bottom crust. No chocolate cheesecake, though, no matter how much it resembles a pie. That's another survey. Pie in your eye
