OIA Boys' Basketball Tournament
Friday, Blaisdell Arena
Part of that will be answered by tonight's semifinals, in which the Mustangs host the Seariders and the Falcons host the Knights.
The rest of the seeding question will hinge on the outcome of Friday's games. The third-place contest is at 6:30 p.m., followed by the title game at 8 p.m.
Friday's doubleheader will feature several of the top players in the state, including Kalaheo's triple threat of Julian Sensley, Ryan Hogue and Levon Freeman. Waianae has balance in William Broadus, Sam Keaulii and Nathaniel Donnell.
For Kalani, the court leaders have been Everett Frye and Lohi Pinho-McKeague. Castle, which ousted previously undefeated Moanalua last week, has been getting blue-collar efforts from Dayton Aberilla and Buddy Guillermo.
Basketball junkies can get an extra fix with the 4:30 p.m. junior varsity championship game.
