Vincent Lee, vice president at St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii, will become a regent of The American College of Healthcare Executives next month and represent Hawaii-Guam. His term continues through 2003.

The international professional society includes approximately 30,000 health-care executives and is active in credentialing and educational programs.

"One of my duties is to promote excellence and skills," Lee said.

He has more than 20 years in hospital administration and joined St. Francis in 1975. Lee helped develop St. Francis Hospice, and the Women's Addiction Treatment Center of Hawaii at St. Francis Medical Center.

Lee also worked five years for the state Health Department's division of mental health and was clinic director.
