Josephine G. Abing, 67, of Las Vegas, who retired from Simmons Mattress Co., died Jan. 20 in Las Vegas. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Bernabe Palisbo Jr. and Ray Charles; daughters Eve Spinola, Bernadette Quintal, Antionette Bucno, Charmaine Hoftailing, Evy Torres and Sharon Omalza; brothers Maximo and Edward Lamoya and Ane Gorion; sisters Connie Maglangit and Betty Salondaka, 25 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Virginia M. Alejo, 78, of Waipahu, who worked in fabrics and crafts at Wal-Mart Royal Kunia, died Sunday in Kuakini Hospital. She was born in the Philippines.
