Four more men have been arrested in connection with stealing computers from Maryknoll Elementary School. Another man had been arrested earlier.

The four Makiki men, a 25-year-old and three 24-years-olds, were arrested for felony burglary yesterday following an investigation, police said.

On Monday, a 24-year-old man was arrested after pawn-shop receipts linked him as the seller of the stolen equipment, police said.

The man, who has no address, has a lengthy criminal record, including three prior felony convictions for breaking into elementary schools, police said.

Three of the five suspects were expected to be charged later today.

Eight Apple computers and two new Epson printers worth $10,000 were stolen last week from Maryknoll classrooms. A refrigerator, VCR, two compact disc players, toothbrushes and an electronic chess game were also taken.

The recovered computer equipment has yet to be returned to the school.
