Fireworks explode over the USS Missouri at the end of
opening-day ceremonies last night. Nearly 2,500 attended
the event at Ford Island, where the historic battleship is
berthed. The Mighty Mo was unveiled after six months
of scraping by volunteers who spent more than 25,000
hours getting the ship ready for the public.
