Overseeing commercial
property at Sofos

Ralph S. Kubota has been promoted to senior vice president at Sofos Realty Corp. and will oversee the commercial property management department.

Sofos Realty currently manages and leases more than two million square feet of commercial properties in Hawaii.

"We offer an expanded scope of services," Kubota said. "For example, we can coordinate capital improvements such as air conditioning with architects and engineers."

He has 15 years experience in real estate, including 61/2 years with Roberts Hawaii Inc. as director of real estate.

For two years, Kubota was senior projects coordinator in the commercial division of Oceanic Properties, now known as Castle & Cooke Properties Inc. He also worked as an appraiser for Lesher & Co. Ltd. Kubota earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and real estate from the University of Hawaii. Sofos Realty Corp. has offices in Honolulu and Wailea, Maui.
