Today's Martin Luther King Jr. Day events included a
bell-ringing ceremony near Honolulu Hale, featuring dignitaries
and survivors of the A-bomb dropped on Nagasaki in World
War II. Gov. Ben Cayetano and Marvelle Manga placed a maile
lei on a King bust and plaque. Later, a mid-day parade drew
participants and celebrants from Ala Moana through Waikiki.
