bullet Church of the Holy Nativity, 5286 Kalanianaole Highway: "Born in a Barn," a series of special events in observance of the church's 50th anniversary, begins with an anniversary luau and group photo, 5 p.m. today.

Tomorrow's events include a forum with three reverends at 8:30 a.m.; morning prayer and presentation by the school choir, 9:45 a.m.; and a festive Eucharist with Bishop Richard Chang at 4 p.m.

On Jan. 24 the choir will perform Haydn's Mass No. 3 in D minor a.k.a. the Lord Nelson Mass at 4 p.m.
