Developing funds
for Bishop Museum

Denise M. Hayashi-Forman takes a newly created position dealing with corporate sponsors, foundation grants, planned giving, endowment programs and government relations.

"Over the next few years, Bishop Museum's development efforts will focus on targeting specific donor interests with funding opportunities in areas of space exploration, natural science and educational programs that share the spirt and diversity of our islands with the rest of the world," Hayashi-Forman said.

She has five years of fund development experience and most recently was director of development for the Japanese Cultural Center.

Hayashi-Forman also was director of fund development for the Hawaii Foodbank and a research assistant and legislative correspondent for Sen. Daniel K. Inouye.
