Alan K. Cambra has taken over operations of The Castle Group Inc. as it expands its resort management business. Castle manages 21 hotels and condominiums in Hawaii, Saipan and Micronesia.

"Our main goal is to expand in Hawaii and the Pacific rim, including Micronesia, Australia and New Zealand," Cambra said.

He has 30 years of industry experience, and most recently was executive vice president of Shoreline/Omni Hotels in Corpus Christi, Texas. Cambra also was president of CRS Group Inc., a hotel consulting, management and development company; senior vice president of Mariner Corp.; vice president of operations, Interstate Hotels Corp.; executive vice president, Hospitality Motor Inns Inc./Harley Hotels; and division vice president, G.E. Springer Inc. He is a Punahou School graduate and has a bachelor's in hotel and restaurant management from Oklahoma State University.
