ANNIE LAI attended a 52nd birthday dinner for her grandson, Danford Look, at Neiman Marcus' Mariposa Thursday. Not too surprising, except that Annie is 103 years old. Up until she was 101, she went to Las Vegas three times a year and played the slots eight hours a day. Her late son, Wally Lai, founded Mid-Pac Lumber Co.
