Yamaguchi second
in Junior Classic

Ashley Yamaguchi of Aiea finished in second place in the girls' 10-11 age group at the Doral Publinx Junior Classic golf tournament in Miami.

Yamaguchi shot consecutive rounds of 59 to finish at 118, seven strokes behind Taylor Leon of Dallas at the Doral Golf Resort.

GET IN FREE: All students, kindergarten through 12th grade, with all S's or better (elementary) or a 3.0 grade point average or better, can attend the Hawaii Wahine basketball games tomorrow against Texas-El Paso and Saturday against New Mexico for free.

Students must present their school I.D. card and 1998 fall report card or the equivalent to the Wahine Basketball Booster table in front of the Stan Sheriff Center gates to be admitted to the arena.
