Atlanta lures
TV news couple

What ever happened to news anchor Heidi Umbhau? She was a terrific newsperson who moved back home with her reporter husband several years ago.

Heidi Umbhau and her husband, Vince Gerasole, used to work at KHNL NBC Hawaii News 8, but have since moved to Atlanta.

Gerasole got a job in the fast-paced Atlanta market with WSB-TV as a reporter last spring, said Chuck Parker, executive news director for Hawaii News 8.

Umbhau gave birth to their second child in January. She had planned to find work after taking her maternity leave, Parker said.
