Brooks scored nine points to lead Punahou past Kalaheo, which got 14 from Levon Freeman.
Lance Bonchristiani had 20 for Galena and Joseph Siofele topped St. Louis with 10.
With the score tied at 37, Galena's Atkinson was fouled as the buzzer sounded to end the overtime period. He made the front end of a 1-and-1, ending the game.
SONY OPEN QUALIFYING: The Monday qualifying for the Sony Open in Hawaii will be held Jan. 11 at the Pearl Country Club.
The top four qualifiers will gain spots in the PGA Tour event Jan. 14-17 at the Waialae Country Club.
Entry fee is $200. Professional and amateur golfers with a handicap of 2 or lower are eligible. Entry deadline is 5 p.m. Jan. 9. Entries are limited to the first 144 applicants.

SURF SHOOT OUT: Hui O He'e Nalu North Shore Hawaii will present the third annual Back Door Shoot Out, a team surfing meet sanctioned by the ASP as a specialty event and offering prize money of $150,000, at Back Door Pipeline during a Jan. 7-26 holding period.
Opening ceremonies are set for 4 p.m. Saturday at Ehukai Beach Park.
