Punchbowl drivers
‘a little hesitant’

Punchbowl Street began service as a two-way road Saturday,
and so far it's going pretty smoothly, according to Cheryl Soon,
director of the city Department of Transportation Services.
"The first time people are maybe a little hesitant because they
haven't done it before, and they're used to having so many
years of it going one way. We are finding that they are taking
the movement . . . . There are a couple of places where we feel
we would like to improve the signage so people will be
in the proper lane."
